AWA Council member Rea Stavropolous shares our mission at dynamic London event. Multi-media artist and member of AWA’s Florence Council of Advisors, Rea Stavropoulos spoke on behalf of AWA at two noteworthy events: Charity and Campaigners Day and Women in the Creative Industries Day. The workshops were part of the Women of the World Festival, held at the South Bank Arts Complex in London on March 4 and 5, 2015. “I was proud to be able to talk about AWA’s work in Florence and to see what an impact it had in an international context, proving again how necessary it is to keep delving into our history as women and thus expand our history as human beings," says Stavropoulos.
