The ‘Best Digital Scholarship Award’ goes to AWA’s sister organization in Florence. Jane Fortune Research Program on Women Artists, under the direction of Dr. Sheila Barker, was awarded the prize for Best Digital Scholarship in 2014 by the Society for the Study of Early Modern Women (SSEMW). The program works to discover and disseminate new archival material, as well as the program’s schedule of conferences, publications and offer of internships and online training programs.
