A highlight for 2018
Florence mayor and vice mayor meet Nelli up close and personal. The city's 'first citizen' Dario Nardella and his right-hand woman, Vice Mayor Cristina Giachi visited the restoration lab work recently, to enjoy the progress of our Nelli Last Supper restoration. A happy morning dedicated to conservation and Plautilla's amazing in-paint feat, with explanations from expert Nelli restorer Rossella Lari, with AWA partnership relations Jane Adams and Director Linda Falcone. The Mayor has plans for The Last Supper to be part of his 'Grandi Musei' project at the soon-to-be renovated Museum of Santa Maria Novella.
