The farewell dinner for FSU students in Florence was full of excitement this term, as one of the program’s students, together with directors Lucia Cossari and Frank Nero, presented AWA with a larger-than-life check in support of Violante Ferroni’s oval at San Giovanni di Dio. On December 10, 2019, AWA’s Cultural Rep Leslie Jmaeff received the gift, extending special thanks to the FSU Art Angels program and The Lion’s Fountain, the local Florentine business that has ‘earned its wings’ this year by matching what students raise through the sale of program T-shirts.
