A self-depiction with a different mood. Pincherle continued painting until her death in 1996 at the age of 91; this self-portrait was made when she was in her sixties and around the time of her husband’s death. Unlike other images that portray a lively mind and an engaged thinker, this one is sadder, more subdued and somewhat darker in mood. This self-portrait, hosted at the Gabinetto G.P. Vieusseux wa restored by AWA in 2016.
