2006 Nelli Awardee. Pina Ragionieri is Director of the Casa Buonarroti, a private museum and foundation in Florence. She is a renowned Michelangelo scholar and Casa Buonarroti hosts various works by the Renaissance master. Dr. Ragionieri has written numerous books including Casa Buonarroti; Michelangelo: the Man and the Myth and Michelangelo: Drawings and Other Treasures from Casa Buonarroti. With over 200 works on paper, the Casa Buonarroti hosts the largest collection of drawings by Michelangelo in the world.
